Planet Edu Mark is working in the development of teachers as
professionals and in the relationship between teacher learning and improved
student learning. Current work includes investigations of the role of
professional standards in improving teacher practice, effective forms of
pre-service education and teacher professional development, and links between
professional development and student learning. The training which we provide
explores influences on the educational and occupational pathways of young people
as they progress from school to further education, training and work and
includes studies of general influences on transition pattern as well as economic
and financial evaluations of particular programs and initiatives.

Podcasting is combination of words "ipod" and
"broadcasting". It is a misnomer since neither podcasting nor listening to
podcasts requires an ipod or any portable player, and no broadcasting is
required. Podcasting as a medium is referred to but not limited to audio data.

Podcasting is a method of publishing audio and video programs via the
internet that lets users subscribe to a feed of new files (usually MP3). It
helps automatic downloading of audio onto portable players or personal
computers. It enables independent producers to create self-published,
syndicated "radio shows" and gives broadcast radio or television programs a
new distribution method.
